Where to Eat: Amaranth

Enjoying a restaurant meal while maintaining a moderated diet is easier than it sounds. If you’re trying to eat clean in New York City, there are numerous spots to keep that balance. Make sure to hit up the most well known restaurant, Amaranth on E64th Street, an avenue away from Central Park. Not only is it well known but Amaranth is well kept. Coordinated Wellness dined here for our post workout protein filled lunch, where we were able to enjoy delicious a plate of seared tuna, lentils and fresh greens. There is a beautiful outside seating area where you can enjoy your summer nights with a glass of wine and an order of their delicious Tomato Provençale, which includes black olives, red onion, oregano, lemon, extra virgin olive oil. What we loved about the Amaranth experience was the impeccably quick service and how caring they were to customers’ needs. With a wide selection of organic based dishes, one can order anything from the Amaranth Salad, which includes, Free Range Chicken Breast, Romaine, Roasted Tomato, Organic Boiled Egg, Feta and Kalamata Olives to the Organic Sirloin Steak. Who knew there even was such thing?! After wining and dining at this charming restaurant, take a walk down the block to Central Park and make your experience feel complete.
